The holidays are upon us and it is time to start stocking up on gifts for those we love! You can take the guesswork out of finding your favorite photographer – or yourself – the perfect photography gift. I put together a list of photography must-haves that every photographer would appreciate. The best part of this list is that you are finding gifts that will be used!
I seriously love these! They are so fun and easy to play around with, and always bring out my creative side.
Don’t forget to use code wPickens for exclusive savings on the LensBaby site!
If your photographer is already a LensBaby lover like me, I highly recommend this cord organizer case to keep all their Omni Wands safe and organized.
This thing is just so darn fun. Quick and easy instantaneous memories. I love to capture milestone memories of our trips with it. A friend of mine took a photo of her daughter with each her friends at her birthday party and sent it home in each of their goodie bags. The kids loved it!
They can also be a super fun client add-on. Send one home with them at the end of the session and encourage them to share it or talk about their experience with you.
This one was gifted to me by one of my photographer frienda and fellow mentor at Click Community. With over 250 Assignments and Ideas, it’s a fun go-to resource when you need to break out of your creative rut.
This one is actually on my wishlist for this year. It is a little more pricey than the other items on my guide, but well worth the price tag. Profoto is like flash for dummies; they are so easy to use. The new A2 is about the size of a pop can making it super portable, but with the same power and reliability as their other great Profoto products.
I love to have ornaments that represent different people and their special things and qualities about them. I like to get an ornament each year for whatever my kids were for Halloween that year or what their birthday party theme was because that usually represents something that they work into for that year. I think your Christmas Tree should represent you as well and a Camera ornament is a perfect way to do that.
This is another one on my wish list this year that I saw another photographer friend get as a gift. I’m always looking for fun things that connect my interest with my kids and help us to connect in a fun way I have two 10 year-old boys that happen to love Legos so I love the idea of something that is technically a gift for mom but it’s also a gift and idea that we can do together and make memories for us both.
I hope you get some great photo gifts this year, feel free to share this post or send me an email if you have a family or friend you’d like me to email it to – wink, wink!
