The Village Circle is a private practice that is owned and operated by Alyssa. While she might be one of the top doulas in the area currently, becoming a birth worker wasn’t always in her plans. During her first birth, she had an induction and felt let down by the entire experience. Once she became pregnant with her second, she was determined to do things differently. She hired a midwife and delivered at a freestanding birth center. Then, with her last pregnancy, she decided to do a midwife-assisted home birth. She now works as a doula, serving as an advocate to make sure every parent can have their ideal delivery.

If you want to see if The Village Circle is the doula for you, the first step will be to schedule a free 30-minute consultation. During this time, you can have an open and honest conversation so you can decide if she’s a match. She is going to go over your birth goals and answer your questions during this appointment.
From there, you will be able to choose one of several packages. Her most popular is the Modern Mama Doula Package. This will give you all-inclusive and personalized care that will prepare you for your birth. She is going to give you all of the advice you need, point you toward trusted resources, and ensure you feel ready to have your ideal delivery. You will have several prenatal visits as well as continuous support throughout your labor. You will also have a postpartum visit. She additionally offers community doula support to ensure every person can have the support they deserve!
