This movie was made by the makers of Fireproof and Facing the Giants, so I knew it would be good. It’s definitely a tear-jerker, but the message is very worth the tears.

The Crazies
About the inhabitants of a small Iowa town suddenly plagued by insanity and then death after a mysterious toxin contaminates their water supply
I should start with the disclaimer that I don’t like scary movies. They give me nightmares, and I’m naturally a jump person, so creepy faces suddenly popping out of the dark are not necessary. I was intrigued by this movie though when I saw the previews, so I wanted to watch it, even if I watch part of it from under the blanket. The plot was actually a little different than I expected from the previews. Overall, it was OK, but I didn’t like the ending at all.
I give the Crazies 2.5 out of 5 stars.
