Wit and Whimzy is a local shop that is all about helping you find that unique something you simply cannot find elsewhere! The concept was started by Laura Pytlik back when she was working at Marietta College. At the time, Etsy was really having its moment, and Laura found herself looking at all the incredible artists across the website. That’s when she decided she wanted to give people a real-life marketplace where they could shop from a wide range of artists not normally featured in shops. She started by hosting pop-up markets before opening up a brick-and-mortar location in 2016. Ever since then, the shop has been a local favorite, featuring goods from over 150 artists and vendors.
