I have a very special maternity photography session to share with you today! Every expectant family is special, but this one is extra special to me.
As a photographer, many times I have heard the advice that to be successful you should “niche down”. Meaning you pick one area of photography to specialize in and kind of become known for that type of session. I agree that this is great advice and have many photographer friends that have done this with great success. I’m just not sure it will ever be for me. Let me tell you why…
First, I love shooting all sorts of clients and genres.
More than anything, I love getting to go through life with so many of my amazing and loyal clients. It’s so special when a mom whose family I have photographed for years, calls me and says, “Can you believe she’s a senior this year?!?” And nothing makes me happier than when my past wedding couples call me up and tell me they’re expecting! I always feel so connected to my bride and groom’s and love that we can reconnect for their maternity session.
Amanda’s beautiful pink maternity gown is from Saved by the Dress.
Amanda was one of the most beautiful brides, and I just knew she would be absolutely glowing as a mom-to-be.
Amanda and Kyle are some of those amazing clients that I have had the absolute pleasure of capturing big milestones in their lives.
