Our cruise took off from a port in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This was the view from the top deck.
The break between the two pieces of land is what we sailed through to get out to sea.
It was kind of funny, because several locals and people in Fort Lauterdale went outside and were waiting to watch our ship take off. Our boat was literally 5 or 6 times bigger than any other boat or cruise ship around, so it was probably pretty impressive to see from the surrounding areas. They all came out in their backyards and waved to us and we departed.
