Cement Patio

Today a crew came to pour the cement for our back patio. This morning there were at least 20 people out there working on it. Once it set up a little bit, they began cutting the seams in it.

After that they started the stamping. They basically use rubber mats that they either press on or walk over to put the pattern into the concrete.

They have some of the charcoal color mixed in with the cement, but they will also come back in a few days and add a spray on stain.

Overall we really like the shape and size of it. Right now it stills seems very light and the texture is very subtle, but he assures us that it will look a lot better once he stains and seals it.
