Stairs and the Fireplace Mantle

Today Clair and Josh installed our stairs. They are oak treads and risers that have been stained to match our hardwood floors.

We also drove out to Country Cabinets and picked up the fireplace mantle, the tub front, and a few trim pieces we were needing. I love how the mantle turned out!

We were pretty worried when we left to pick up the mantle, because we have had some torrential down pours on and off throughout the day and we were picking the mantle up in an open bed trailer. We had to leave about a half hour later than we were planning, but we managed to pick it up, get it secured, and brought it to the house without a drop of rain.
