Social Studies Fair

Tonight Dad and I volunteered to judge the local County Social Studies’s Fair. It’s something fun that we do each year together, and it also helps the local schools, because they always need volunteers to judge.

It’s great to see the kids and feel like we are encouraging them, but we also have a lot of laughs together. How can I not laugh, when my dad shows up to pick me up like this:

Don’t worry, I made him leave the no-notecards sign in the van before we went in. The regional fair is hosted at Blennerhassett this year, so we will probably be doing it as well.
