Nathan and I have become big fans of V8 Splash Diet. One night when I was drinking some of the Berry Blend, I mentioned that this would taste really good as a popsicle. The next morning, I woke up and found this in our freezer. Nathan?s always so sweet about surprising me and encouraging all of my crazy ideas.

New recipe #2 for 2010 was Pampered Chef?s ham bundles. I made them the night that Marvin and Jeanie were coming over to watch the WVU basketball game. Unfortunately the Mountaineers didn?t win, but the ham bundles were scrumptious.

I woke up this morning with such a sore neck. It hurt to even think about moving it. Unfortunately, chiropractors aren?t open on Sundays, so we picked up a ThermaCare heat wrap, and I basically laid around all day. It didn?t fix my neck, but definitely made it feel better and helped me get through the day.

Yesterday, I mentioned to my grandma that my neck was hurting, and that I was hoping to get it adjusted as soon as I could. She called tonight just to check on me and see if was feeling better after my chiropractor?s appointment. I just thought it was sweet of her to think about me.

I?m trying to take more everyday photos, not a big photo shoot, just us being us. So this is just a fun picture of Nathan and I hanging out in the evening relaxing and watching TV.

They dug our basement today. After months of delays at the bank, and then weeks of snow, we were pretty excited to finally see some change at the lot. We?re so excited that our house is finally underway ? even if all we have right now is a big hole.

Today they are pouring our footers. Since we are working in the winter, Kendell decided to make our footers extra wide. The plans called for them to be about 20 inches wide, but Kendell used 36. From this picture, you can see the basic outline of our house.
