Granite and Flooring – Check and Check

Today was a good day!

I am happy to report that after today… we have all of our flooring ordered and all of the granite selected for our kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room.

All along that was our goal for today, but I never really thought we would be able to get all 8 different flooring options ordered and granite countertops selected for 6 different rooms. I’m not even talking about just colors picked out; I’m talking about actual pieces of granite with a big stickers that say something like, “Pickens – Master Bath” on it. Now that’s what I call progress!

And to top it all off, when we rolled home at 8 o’clock at night after a long, albeit productive, day I walk in to find Mom has dinner waiting for us on the table and all of our laundry done. Does my mom rock or what?!?

Like I said… it’s been a good day.
