Drywall, Stairs, and Garage Pole

They drywalled the ceiling in the family room today. I’m glad I didn’t have to do it!

They also finished drywalling the wall between the stairs.

The removed the temporary railing, so they could finish the stairs and have it ready for painting and trim.

Originally, there was supposed to be one pole in the garage. Kendell was afraid that the one small pole wasn’t enough to hold the weight of the upstairs by itself, so he beefed it up a little, using three poles in one place. He boxed them in and added a light switch for us.
