Drywall, garage lights, and basement stairs

They have pretty much hung all of the drywall upstairs. It really changed the feel of room sizes. Some feel bigger, some feel smaller, some just seem different. This is the room that will be my photo studio – it really looks good now. Is it strange that I like the smell of drywall??? I don’t know, it’s just such a fresh and clean smell!

They also started hanging the lights in the garage. We decided to go with about 20 recessed lights out there. Not the cheapest option out there, but I think it will give it a very finished look to it.

They also built the stairs to the basement. Here is a look at them from the main floor landing.

This is a side look from the basement.

You can see a box on the far wall in the landing. That is where the last big window will go. I think it will be so nice to have some natural light coming onto the staircase.
