Today the guys hosted a cornhole tournament. They leave next Friday for the big, church softball tournament in Roanoke, Virginia, and they decided to host the 1st Annual Liberty Street Church of God Cornhole Tournament to help raise money to support missions in Paraguay.
For our first time doing something like this, we had a really good turnout. We had 21 teams of two and raised about $500 for the guys to take to Roanoke.
Of course, I had my handy sidekick Faithers helping me out during the day. Doesn’t she look like she’s really working hard?
Even though the tournament was for charity, the first and second place teams won prize money and championship t-shirts. We had some really good cornhole players show up ready with their ‘A’ game. The winners were “the Donalds”.
Josh and Derek got second place, but they gave it a good fight at the end.
