Basement Tile Backsplash

A few weeks ago Rick finished up the tile in the basement kitchen. For the backsplash we went with a stacked stone look.

This weekend Nathan sealed it with an enhancer. I just love the color it brought out and how well it goes with the cabinets and the oil rubbed bronze fixtures.

The natural stones are different sizes and even have different depths.

I’m not sure I would want it in the upstairs kitchen, where I cook and might have a harder time keeping it clean behind the stovetop, but I love the rustic look of it in the basement.
