Basement Kitchen Cabinets Install

Today Clair and Larry came to install the basement kitchen cabinets. This is the main wall. There will be a sink in the middle, and you can see the small fridge already in its place. The upper, middle section has accessories to hold stemware glasses.

The kitchen is a galley style with a walk-way between the wall and the island. There are pretty matching columns that will go around the red poles that you see. We will install them after the granite is installed.

The back of the island is beadboard. The two-by-fours you see are just temporary. The corbels we ordered are on backorder, so Delmas included these in case we need to install the granite countertops before they come. The island cabinets are 18 inches wide, and then there will be a 12 inch overhang with bar stools on the other side.
