Birth Circle is an Athens organization that started out as a way to support parents. Their mission is to provide both emotional and practical help to families. The non-profit organization is going to be your new best friend during those early years of parenthood. Need some advice? They have it. Want to hear a talk from an expert? They have just the session! They also have groups where you can come and vent. This is a non-judgemental center where you will feel safe and supported.
Services
The Athens Birth Circle is going to be here before your baby is even born! This is going to be the center where you can find birth workers to support you as you near your due date. They know all the best midwives and doulas, plus they can direct you to a childbirth class. With their help, you are going to head into your due date feeling totally confident!
I think you are also going to adore their Prepared Parents Workshop. This is a totally free program that will teach you how to build confidence in your positive parenting skills. While you can start these once your baby arrives, it can also be a great way to learn about basic baby care, breastfeeding, and exactly what you can expect throughout pregnancy. Outside of their workshops, they have a lending library where you can learn from experts without paying a penny!
