Movie Monday: Elf and Love Happens

Uncategorized

One of my favorite movies ever is Elf. It is hilarious, and I could watch it over and over. All day on Christmas day and Christmas Eve I answer the phone, “Buddy the Elf, what’s your favorite color?”

After inadvertently wreaking havoc on the elf community due to his ungainly size, a man raised as an elf at the North Pole is sent to the U.S. in search of his true identity.

I give Elf 5 out of 5 stars.

Nathan also gives it 5 out of 5 stars.

We also watched Love Happens. This wasn’t quite as funny as most Jennifer Aniston movies, but it was still pretty good story.

Love Happens

A widower whose book about coping with loss turns him into a best-selling self-help guru, falls for the hotel florist where his seminar is given, only to learn that he hasn’t yet truly confronted his wife’s passing.
